Les Charbonniers de l'Enfer
Les Charbonniers de l'Enfer is made up of five voices and some feet. Their impressive harmonies transport us seamlessly to their traditional universe. It’s a musical journey from yesterday to tomorrow through a contemporary and traditional repertoire.
Les Charbonniers de l’Enfer is the only a capella folk group in Québec that has been captivating audiences for more than 18 years. The exceptional affinity of the group’s members—Michel Bordeleau, Michel Faubert, André Marchand, Jean-Claude Mirandette and Normand Miron—makes their show burn with even more sizzle. Their harmony on stage, as well as in their songs, is pure pleasure with a quiver of excitement.
With their six albums, Les Charbonniers have earned many nominations in Quebec and Canada. Nouvelles Frequentations was nominated twice at the Canadian Folk Music Awards 2011 and 4 times at the ADISQ (Quebec’s music Awards).
